At Blend on Main / Peach Pit Cafe we are searching for a line cook that will work the hot line for lunch and dinner shifts and prepare foods for each shift. The candidate will report directly to the sous chefs and the executive chef.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand and follow inventory sheets
  • Complete Mise-en-Place for lunch by 11:30am and/or dinner by 5:30 pm
  • Prepare all the food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Follow recipes, controls, portion, and presentation specifications as set by the chef
  • Responsible for performing other related duties as assigned by the chef
  • Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes
  • Handle, store and rotate all the products properly
  • Maintain cleanliness of a station
  • Assist preparation cook in their duties when possible
  • Maintain a proper uniform
  • Check schedule daily for any changes; notify supervisor of any adverse conditions meeting the schedule no less than 24 hours in advance

Qualifications: Ability to cook quality food in a fast-paced environment and have culinary creativity.

Language Skills: English

Pay: Pay is commensurate with experience
